We are looking to hire a part time or full time Texas licensed Registered Dental Hygienist to add to our team here at Denton Family Dentistry, a solo private practice that has been well established for over 20 years in the same location in a busy and populated area in Denton, Texas.
We are looking for someone passionate about what they do, wanting to work together with the
Doctor & team to treat patients and promote good oral health. Our ideal candidate will love patients of all ages, have deep knowledge of relevant health & safety rules, and a good eye for oral diseases & anomalies, trainable and willing to adapt our system, not calling in to come in late or not showing up to work and is accountable, responsible, honest, independent, no attitude problem, excellent bedside manner, team player, work hard and efficient in busy and fast pace environment. Our office strive to hire, keep, and maintain a good staff for a long term by creating amazing work spaces and environment for our staff and compensating fairly and appropriately for the right candidate with experience. We have nice, fun, easy going, and stable full staff to work with. Must hold an active TEXAS REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENE LICENSE.

Responsibilities:
-Assemble, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
-Prepare and sterilize solutions, materials, and medications.
-Provide dental treatments, such as scaling and polishing.
-Monitor patient vital signs, medical history, and medical problems.
-Clean patient treatment rooms, equipment, and help clean the office.
-Communicate with other professionals who are involved in the patient's care.
-Complete all documentation for dental procedures performed.
-Charting Perio Charts and entering dental treatment and presenting to the patients
-Making phone calls to schedule patients or fill empty schedules
-Placing Sealants
-Taking alginate impression, pouring stone model, fabricating for whitening trays and/or nightguards.
-Treating patients with In-Office
Teeth-Whitening.
-Laser treatment as needed.
-Educating patients on fluoride treatment
-Etc.
