Qualifications:
• Valid MD state dental hygiene license
• Current CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care
What You'll Do:
• Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive services
• Conduct patient assessments and screenings
• Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop personalized treatment plans
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records

After many years of practice Dr Richard Powell is transitioning into retirement as daughter Dr Brooke Powell begins her third year in the practice. Dr Brooke Powell is a talented dentist (and artist) who graduated in the top in her class and went on to a residency with the VA in Baltimore.

The private practice accepts PPO’s but dental care is patient-focused not insurance driven.

Dr Brooke Powell enjoys collaborating with all team members to offer not only a welcoming atmosphere but skilled customer service. She enjoys sharing her expertise to help her clinical staff grow and loves broadening her insight and skills through continuing education and study groups. As an artist, as well as a dentist, her hand skills and eye for detail are amazing!

Educating patients is another focus of the practice. In the clinic Dr Brooke Powell relies on her hygienist to personalized patient education and convey to the Dr. the patient's understanding of good oral care and what needs to happen to improve the patient's dental health.
