Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our one-doctor general practice, where patient care is at the heart of everything we do. As a Dental Hygienist in our practice, you will be integral to ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care. We value the unique qualities that each team member brings and believe in creating a supportive atmosphere where everyone can thrive. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:
- Calculus removal and periodontal treatment
- Prophylaxis and scaling and root planing
- Conducting thorough periodontal screenings
- Engaging in patient education to promote oral health
- Maintaining accurate dental charting using Eaglesoft
- Overseeing patient recalls and appointments
Our structure allows for a personalized experience, with appointments scheduled for one hour and a focus on one patient at a time. You’ll have the opportunity to connect deeply with each patient, helping them understand their dental needs and encouraging good oral habits for a lifetime of healthy smiles.
To thrive in this role, you should possess strong skills in patient education, periodontal care, and be CPR certified. Familiarity with Eaglesoft is beneficial, and we welcome new graduates eager to cultivate their skills in a nurturing environment.
We offer competitive compensation, with a negotiable salary based on experience, along with retirement/401K benefits and paid time off. You'll also enjoy a balanced workday with a one-hour lunch break from 1-2pm.
