Are you an enthusiastic and skilled dental hygienist seeking a rewarding part-time opportunity? Our long-established family dentistry practice in West San Jose, conveniently located near Mitty High School, is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team on a temporary basis to cover for an employee on pregnancy leave. In our vibrant office, we prioritize excellent patient care while creating a fun and supportive work environment.

As a dental hygienist, you will provide individualized care to our patients, typically spending one hour with each patient to ensure their comfort and satisfaction. Our practice emphasizes strong hygiene and restorative treatment planning, so confidence in these areas is essential. We believe in delivering exceptional service, and our patients appreciate the attention they receive during each visit.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 year of experience in dental hygiene and have a strong command of communication skills. Proficiency with intraoral cameras and experience using the iTero system for wellness scans are significant advantages. You will have the support of a back office coordinator who will assist with room setup, takedown, and provide one hour per quadrant of Scaling and Root Planing (SRP), allowing you to maintain a focus on patient care.

Our office is committed to the safety and well-being of our team and patients. We offer comprehensive personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Additionally, you will enjoy a guaranteed lunch break of 30 minutes to 1 hour, with access to a break room stocked with a variety of snacks.
