About the presenter:
Katie Benavides has over 18 years of experience in the dental profession. Since graduating from the College of Southern Nevada's dental hygiene program in 2010, she has developed a deep passion for oral health. Early in her career working alongside periodontists,
she gained extensive knowledge of periodontal disease and treatment. She has become a seasoned clinician with a strong grasp of technological advancements in dentistry, including laser technology and oral pathogen analysis. She is dedicated to sharing knowledge, coaching dental hygiene departments, speaking, and teaching clinical dental hygiene at her alma mater. As an expert providing precision care with dental endoscopes, Katie advocates for the widespread adoption of technology in dentistry for the benefit of practitioners and patients.
